"IL PALAZZO"
The Observatory (recently renewed) is situated in one panoramic zone to approximately 2 Km from Firenzuola (FI) and to meters 649 slm.
Long :11°23'32" east ; Lat 44°08'01" north
The building is encircled from antichi forests of chestnut tree and ancient oaks. The luminous inqinamento is acceptable, but the threat of this problem is always constant.
The instrumentation:
The observatory is equipped of a telescope in Schimdt-Cassegrain configuration with opening of 254mm and 2500mm of focale to F/10. In parallel there is a Maksutov Cassegrain from 90mm and 1200 milimeter f /13, 3 with Barlow 2x for the guide. A third telescope is mounted in parallel to second of the requirements, draft of a rifrattore semiapo of the Orion from 80mm and 600 milimeter of focale to f/7,5.
For resumptions to wide field instead use rifrattorino Apo seeds of the Scopos diameter 66mm and 400mm of focale to f/6. It is the Orion that the Scopos comes uses in parallel the Meade.
For the acquisition of the images Deep Sky a Starlight Xpress SXVF H9C is used ccd (sees link in the Home Page for the specific characteristics) connected to an other ccd more small for use than autoguider.
At last for the planetary resumption use a webcam dresses modified is managed from the Iris software.
